
Vintage 1900's Victorian Gown 43" Excellent Condition with Matching Slip
Such a great find is this fantastic Christening Gown ! 43 inches of Batiste , laces , white satin ribbon beaded through at the neckline , bodice and sleeves. These ribbons are replacements to the original ones ; which is to be expected considering this gown is around 100 years old !
Has 6 3/4 " of fine lace at the hemline which is 62" in circumference. Gown measures approx.20" chest 2 tiny pearlbuttons and ribbon ties in the back .
This work of art looks completely handstitched , a rare beauty indeed !

Fancy beading that the ribbons go through ,fine lace at the neckine . Check out the closeups of the bodice with rows of lace vertical and 2 rows continue in the back bodice. At the shoulder such detail in a fine openwork with tiny flowers in between !
