VINTAGE VICTORIAN 1900 SCALLOPED HANDWORKED GEORGOUS CHRISTENING GOWN WITH MATCHING SLIP
This is an unbelievable georgous set entirely handdone ! This handworked gown from the early 1900's is made of fine cotton batiste and features delicate lace frill and scalloped hemline on both the gown and slip ! It also has a so pretty cutwork pattern throughout the skirt and yoke .
The yoke continues to the back with this fine cutwork design where it closes with 4 pearl buttons and buttonholes.
This hand cutwork continues 11 " up from the hem .
I was amazed to discover that all the scalloped , cutwork lace , seams are all done with love by hand . An art from the past has survived in great condition.
