Antique Ayrshire Crown 1860 Lawn Bonnet

What an impressive baby bonnet for a special day in baby's life ! Made of a fine cotton lawn , lace trim . lace inserts, smocking and double ruffle. Crown has Whitework Ayrshire embroidery in a sweet design with drawn threadwork in the center. All handstitched in very good condition.Ready to wear. Will fit head ( doll model only not for sale )circumference of 15 3/4" and can be made smaller with the adjustable draw string in the back of the bonnet. Has silky white ribbon ties that were added later as this part of the antique bonnets usually has to be replaced.
