VIN 32 BEAUTIFUL WHITEWORK BATISTE AND LACE DECORATION VICTORIAN PETTICOAT c.1900

Circa 1900 a truly lovely Victorian, lace and whitework petticoat, the bodice being most daintily decorated with a thin trimming of Valencienne lace to the armholes and neckline. To the back of the bodice there are adjustable linen ties to the neck and waist openings which can be adjusted to suit baby's size. The lovely skirt to this petticoat is beautifully decorated around the whole circumference and consists of a 5" deep panel which is embellished with rows of pintucks, Valencienne lace inserts, whitework and a lovely Valencienne lace frilled flounce to the hemline. Measuring chest.....22" length....32" this lovely item being so prettily decorated could well pass as a beautiful dress for the summer. Having been freshly laundered this fine soft Cotton Batiste petticoat is sparkling white free of all stains and damage and ready for use. A most lovely addition to your angel’s Christening attire !
